What began as a carpool friendship morphed into a mutual obsession to create beautiful one-of-a-kind jewelry.  And so over time, StormFlight Designs was born.  Our jewelry is the creative expressions of Jamie Cox and Stacey Peterson. We are fascinated with glass, stone, silver and gems. We hope you will feel the fascination too!  Each piece is made by hand in our Pennsylvania studios.

Meet Jamie Cox: After taking care of the kids, dogs, chickens, husband...I have time for a cup of coffee and my art. I have done so many things over the years...sewing, weaving, reupholstery, jewelry...I love to create things and use my hands. After I took a glass fusing class creating took a whole new spin. After investing in a few supplies, like a kiln and a torch, I learned how to create my own lampwork glass beads. From there I naturally had to make them into jewelry and so silver work naturally followed!

Meet Stacey Peterson: I grew up learning and doing all kinds of art--my first class was a magic marker class when I was 8!  My parents were into painting and ceramics and I still have the kiln I used as a child. I took every class available in our small town of Cary, NC over the years.  Now I have fallen in love with silver-smithing and am making jewelry as often as I can!
